i just finished reading
Deep Love [ayu no monogatari] and im speechless. yes, indeed. it has the best storyline ever. i have no idea if the story itself is true, but for me, i think it's an incredible manga you have to read and see for yourself.
Ever since before, ive been trying to find
Deep Love over the internet coz i found it pretty interesting. unfortunately, i didnt find any. so recently i found this site where they host
Deep Love. so of course i downloaded it to my pc and i read it. im gonna summarize it for ya.
here, Deep Love is about a highschool girl named Ayu who earns money by using her body. technically, you might call her a prostitute. one day, she found an injured dog by the street and decided to take it to an old lady she saw earlier that morning (not really sure if it was the same morning,oh well).
So everyday, Ayu checks up on the puppy together with the old lady(let's call her
granny next time.lol). They named the puppy, Pao. So since then Ayu stays with granny and Pao. Granny shows Ayu 1.5 million yen. she told Ayu that she earned it all by herself so she can cure her grandson named Yoshiyuki who has a heart problem.
One day, Ayu's friend got caught up in a huge amount of debt w/c is 2.0 million yen. He said, "Help me Ayu. Lend me 2.0 million yen. i will pay you back once i sort this out." She thought of the 1.5 million yen granny has saved. she secretly stole it and earned for the rest to lend for her friend.
One week has passed and Ayu is still not getting the money. She just found out that this friend of hers just spent the money for drugs (not really sure. but i know he's a drug addict).
Then comes the death of granny, w/c devastated Ayu, knowing that she hasnt paid the 1.5 million yet. During granny's funeral, she met Yoshiyuki. the grandson, granny was talking about.
After that, they became the best of friends. Ayu smiles a lot since then, so is Yoshiyuki. they loved each other to the fullest. but yoshiyuki's father forbid them to see each other. But Ayu sacrificed herself by becoming a prostitute once again to earn money for Yoshiyuki's operation and to keep her promise to the old woman who changed her life.
She earned a lot and before she knew, she had AIDS. the first symptom appeared. it was christmas then. she asked Pao to deliver her gift to Yoshiyuki coz she was too weak to even walk. As soon as Yoshiyuki recieved Ayu's gift, her asked Pao to deliver his gift to her. w/c is a minidisk. inside is a voice record of Yoshiyuki w/c tells how she loved watching the sky with her and how she misses her,etc. Ayu cried, falling on the ground, feeling weaker and weaker. She was about to die. and for the very first time, Ayu wishes to have lived longer because she has someone she wants to protect. yoshiyuki-the man she loves.
After Ayu died, Yoshiyuki's father commtied suicide leaving his insurance to Yoshiyuki, making the operation a success.
